Is there a charity shop in your shitty little town? If so i'd volunteer to work there a day or two a week if i were you. They'll take you. The benefits of this are it shows that you're employable (and possibly "nice"). A day or so a week shouldn't really cut into your "doing nothing" phase (fair enough you're at this course 5 days a week but still ...).


Also part of the reason the course is so shit is probably to force you into work (as the lesser of two evils).
