Never had the intention of playing this round 'superserious' as I did round 34. Had the joy of playing with the best group of PA players ever (the Ministry). Also I was very fortunate that shazna was cov-opping/donating the whole round long and that we went xan DE. Due to politics, our fleet composition and I think BlueArmy's huge Terran DE planet at the start of the round we got little to no incoming all round and we could cruise all round long.
Xan DE was shit to roid with. Xan CR was decent until people found out about dragons and Xan CO was okay-ish to send along on large fi/co team ups to cap the occasional roid. Constantly tried to have the blunt of my fleet in DE and some of the value in CR to cap roids with. The CO was there only for the last week or so. I had no CO until 10 days before the end of the round. Pure DE+CR.

All in all I am still amazed we didn't get roided to bits because we gave away our start up bonus. Nonetheless I am happy that we dominated the top 20 ranks as a galaxy, however I am happy we were never really under attack as it is my impression that Asc def would've sucked, hard.

Anyway. That was it.
