it wasn't an overwhelmingly positive performance by germany but then i can't recall germany ever decimating anyone, they always seem to just edge through and win...which means this is a standard german performance to take them to the finals?
incidently i think the thread title should be changed to 'world cup thread' or something similar, it'll save countless threads as interesting matches occur.
