Xan has a good offense however...
Problem with xan is you are wide open to frig inc and the ratio of revenant fleets to incoming fi fleets will be like 3-6 fleets a pop to cover.
Also there is good scope to fake fi as frig on xan targets so a good dc needs to know what to look for.
