This has nothing to do with either farming of ships, roids or xp. Related to this, I agree to mz's post above (the last line).
It has to do with one player sending the other a completely harmless inagme mail.
Can you seriously not see the sheer absurdity (if that's a word) of the situation? If you have a rule making closures like this possible, then it should be obvious from a mile away that rule is flawed beyond any reason.
