Eboue didn't have a good match, the Inter one was hugely better. He isnt a brilliant passer, but a good crosser, and his runs often got him into crossing positions. It's an option anyway.

I was at the Inter match, and his passing wasn't great then. He just doesn't combine with the other midfielders well enough, he's too selfish and doesn't suit the Arsenal style as practised by everyone else in the Arsenal midfield. It's not exposed when you're a full-back, but as a midfielder he just doesn't fit.
