Looking back on these stats, I stick to my pre-round criticism that they are far too defensive.

Alliances have attemped to compensate for this by relying heavily on EMP in all alliances, by organizing teamups of 3-8 fleets per wave, and by engaging in gangbangs in the last half of the round. BF, CT and Ascendancy all had 5+ alliance blocks on them for 3-8 nights, making landing fairly easy even with stats favouring defense.

This has reduced the number of viable fleet stats, made individual attacks less about thinking what to send and more about just piling on shit until the target collapses, and made politics rather boring.
