Actually, Reo-Coker didn't play too badly in the last third of the season. It was just that for the first half on the season, he'd been a complete twat, as pig acknowledges.
On Parker: One good season for Charlton, one lost season for Chelsea, two competent seasons for Newcastle. Roeder required him to demonstrate the skills of both a defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder, and he isn't especially either. But Curbishley knows how to use him, so there's no reason why he can't get back to his Charlton best.
