Jessica is someone you barely know?

Is she making up the part about you graduating with her?

If she is making all of this up, then she has some very serious problems which need to be dealt with, not bitched about.

She sounds like a person who is very jealous, or she is a person who is working herself up to end a realationship which she wants to end but doesn't want to take the responsibility for ending. She can do this by justifying her actions; or she can make you so angry that you take some percipitous step. If she has worked her self up to such a state, you can probably start looking for a room and checking the child support tables in your locality.

Probably, one or the other of you will have to find a different church to attend as the congregation will ultimately have to choose sides, whether they should or not.
