Teaching 'noobs' how to play is something different from running a winning alliance.
Its a matter of expectations. People can laugh at alliance X for 'losing', but if it was never the intention of alliance X to win... then i dont see a problem.

I mention alliance X on purpose cause its not upto me to decide who views itself that way.
However, the above has in many rounds been "abused". For example some top alliance have tried to win all round, but ended up losing claiming "we didnt care about the win anyways".
