this is entirely true. i continue to harbour ambitions of owning an MGF, but lets be honest: it's the vanity factor that's nine-tenths of the thing. the acceleration is just frosting.
on a side note, clarkson wrote a fantastically awful article for the times last month which I may type up later. Basically he insists that environmentalists are
worse than fascists because
he doesn't want their arguments to be true. He spins two pages out of this, and not with allusions: he pretty much says this right out.
