Apple trees are cheap

Just stash a plant somewhere in the bushes behind a footballfield in the summer
and check back a few weeks later

If you plant a few at random places and some get stolen (and they will)
you can easily get your money back with profit from the remaining once

And then you can enjoy the fruits of your apple trees
I've tried it, it works
