A password and username system is designed so that the person(people) who know the username and password can login.

If you give someone the login/pass for something, you have entrusted them with the information held within. What they do with it is whoever gave the pass's fault.

Its not a 'nice' thing to do, but given the fact that someone gave out their login/pass they probably intended the information get out.
