P3n was losing roids considerably faster than Ult was. I have heard several times that we just needed to keep fighting and we would have been able to win over ult but that was just not realistic. We ended the war on 18k roids while ult still had 23k. We did not have the strategic depth (or to be honest the individual players) to win in a long term war. Nor did we have any inclination to in a round where that was not our objective.

The only way p3n could have won would have been by staying out of the war and being close enough to Ult that they would not hit us. Something other alliances would not like, and not a way we would want to win either.
