My mate just picked up a Panasonic DMC-FX9K which is the most delicious camera I've seen in a while. 6 megapixel, a very effective image stabiliser, superb screen on the back, fast enough to record near full-motion VGA video and the picture quality's excellent. Available eBay style for about £200-230.

I must own one =(
