Don't be hating a perfectly legitimate word. How exactly would you say "ten thousand" in a single word? What ways do you get across "unknowable hordes"?

Hate the people, not the word. What did it ever do to you?

I could understand if myriad killed your father and raped your mother, but I'm not sure that is possible as we're dealing with an abstract concept.
