I agree with Berten, the creatures evocating ships are great in themselves, the other elements are not needed (keep the earth for terrans, the globe for cath), that's worth a try anyway. I think there should be more red in the Zik in reference to their ingame colour code.
For the ETD I would use a Broadsword or a Fireblade as central element (the fire would be the element linking them to the Terran race).
