Mario Kart 64 is terrible compared to Double Dash, and that is vastly inferior to Super Mario Kart. The single player was inherently flawed and multiplayer racing was more about the exploitation of bugs than it was of actual racing. The only thing to recommend it over SMK was the 4 player battle mode.
