On sandbagging
The last few rounds, only galaxies outside of the top 10 are eligible for a late signer.
Unfortunately, gettting one is still as good as mandatory, because having a 10th or 11th planet is 9-10% of your final score, which is a huge difference. In order to get a late signup, people engage in what has come to be known as sandbagging.
Sandbagging is intentionally playing the game badly. You don't spend resources, because ships give more score than resources do. You don't land attacks (escorting is fine), because XP is useless even if you're not trying to stay small, while roids increase your value and income.
I want to play the game, but it is providing me with a perverse incentive not to. That is the exactly opposite of what a game should do.
Please remove it.

He would have given them a coy little wave if the roof hadn't collapsed just then. Mary then found himself in the middle of an understandably shocked family's kitchen table. So he gave them the coy little wave and realized it probably would have been more effective if he hadn't been lying on their turkey.
