Psychosis

/ooc Character is fine, just don't go psycho on any of the other RPers. ooc/

You recieved a call from the police chief this morning, telling you to get down to the station as quickly as you can. Arriving there, you see the Chief come out of his office to growl, "Get into the briefing room."

David91

As you are one of the first people into the briefing room, you find a seat easily. However, you are amazed at the long line of people that file into the briefing room just behind you. The briefing room was rarely crowded, as only a few officers were usually needed for each case. Clearly, something far bigger was in motion today. "Looks like trouble." said an elderly man as he came in to sit down behind you. This man was Vincent Ortega, the oldest man in the NYPD, coming in at 78. He was a veteran of the Wars of 2030, where he served as an Infantryman. He transfered to WAVEs soon after they were introduced, however, saying that his old bones couldn't take many mores years as an Infantryman. "I heard a bit of news on the way down here. Seems the President is giving a speech today here in New York. We're probably pulling riot duty or some such thing."

"Wow...lot of people here today." Ralph mutters as the two of you enter the briefing room. "Better grab a seat quick. Talk to you later!" Ralph said, moving away as he spotted an empty seat. He shoved a WAVE Rider away from the seat before the man could claim it, but this seemed to be a bad choice as the man hulled Ralph out of the stolen seat and began a shouting match with him.

Nick scowls as he enters the briefing room. Apparently, the Chief called up the entire force and told them to come down to the station, given the large number of seats already taken. Cursing his bad luck, Nick finds himself forced to take a seat up front, as the seats in all of the back rows were already taken. Fortunately, there is a seat next to the one Nick chooses, so that Melissa can sit next to him. "I wonder what caused the Chief to call so many officers in....I havn't seen the briefing room this full since the gang war last year." she whispers into Nick's ear, and he nods with agreement. He then remembers the news report he had dimly heard just after he woke up, about the President giving a speech today, and that the Chief had promised the NYPD would be on riot patrol.....
