i think you do need to be in an alliance to comment on it. otherwise your are seeing the alliance policies rather than what each alliance member gains from being in said alliance. The two very rarely are similar.

But the alliance policy will dictate who the allaince memebr 'scoializes' with.

But yes you are right it is pointless arguing it
