another round comes and goes. this is home mine played out

first off i was in 13:6
lotsa caths in that gal
and i started off stealig a nice xan co fleet (thanks wuming)

altho having that many pcaths ingal brought incs, lots of them

or first night of incs we had 160 hostile fleets ingal (about tick 200)

so we were skinny
i stayed in gal till we were fat again then exiled out

after that i landed in a gal with raketman olav carbone storebo and gir landed in our gal later

we were doing ok in 3:7 untill a couple went on vacation, got smacked and our defense started to suffer

so after a day where we lost all our roids i suggested to olav that we should exile

he agreed and unfortunately we rushed our exile so that we couldnt take the 30million out of the fund which raketman donated cause he didnt want it any more (this set up a thing where i was pissed at storebo, and hence attacked him, i could have landed but his diplomacy made me happy and so i recalled)

anyway we exiled all of us out of that gal

id like to mention at this point that i was landfing fr/de attacks teaming with xans
also faking my fi/co as de cause i had similar numbers

this was ok

but my attack partners were huge and i was capping crap all roids.

i realised that xan/zik de was deadly due to a quick visit to #support and help from munroe

anyway the round continued, and i tried to solo people instead of teaming

i couldnt land anything for a couple of weeks

and at this point i had only really bought a few rogues

anyway i exiled out of 3:7
landed in 2:7

we were small

but soon after we got a couple of good exiles
and 2:7's ingal defence WAS AWESOME
with dcing at night done by me and yuuzh
and friendly banter provided by haramis yuuzh frosty kublai randal eki fetznet,and tomatosandbasil

so i went back into support cause i had a stockpile cause i thought id haveto exile 3 or four times

and munroe pointed out to me this time that zik bs Pwned xan s

so i put all my resources for the rest of the round basically into pirates

and i wasnt disapointed

i started landing uber solo attacks

and eventually got half my roids from xans with 600k bombers (thanks 5:7:2)

thats skipping forward a bit tho,
i was landing on nice xans before 5:7:2teaming with cat cr and just picking the biggest xans our ROCK on the attack list

at one point
a stupid terr crashed his fr fleet defending me

i was horrified
i went from 75k pirates to 25k

my uber attack fleet was gone
and i had a crappy terr fr fleet i couldnt do anything with
at this point i was top 100 value just outside topp 100 in score

so you know what i did...
i crashed my fi fleet. 500k value
over 100k xan fi
in order to rebuild my pirates
anyway that got me back to 60k pirates, so i just kept building em again

i kinda stopped getting incs at this point
good range of allis ingal and the few waves i did get got decent alli and strong ingal support <3

well by this point i had enough fi/co/fr/de to fake em as my bs

so i just ended up sending them on attacks

recruited magicmaniac to hit 5:7:2 with me

we both landed on him a couple of times from well stratagised attacks

this got me a 25k odd xp boost so i was happy

by this point i was top 50

so i figured id dont all i could do

i organised a few more leet waves on the final day of the round, trying to get a couple of people top 100

the result
maniac ended 104th
and haramis who landed with me on the last tick of the round
would have made top 100 if it wasnt for me sleeping in and landing and stealing 1/3 of the roids
she ended 125th

bloody good effort from those two tho to come to the dark side, the xp ho side, and give themselves the best shot

anyway
i ended the round 3rd in xp 19th ranked zik (biggest xp ho by far) 3rd in launches 192 total, 47th in co ops and ranked 58th
missed a couple of ticks worth of resources
but it was a fun round

pirates are the leet
and pirates and wyvs= uncoverable basically

specially in the numbers me and a few friends had em
