My friends housemate has an insane fear of pulses. Not the bodily kind but the bean kind. She gets scared stiff when she sees a tin of beans. Chickpeas, lentils, peas, beans etc she can't eat them. She can't be in the same room as people eating them. She can't talk about them.
It sounds hilarious!
