Re: IDE to SATA Guide

It didnt bsod because of the drive letter. I know this because i did a successful clone using norton ghost the first time. When i rebooted with only the sata drive plugged in it loaded windows but the hdd was labelled f:\

Everything worked fine and dandy for windows but there was no way to reassign to c:\ as this had been reserved or somesuch. I googled for ages trying to find a way round it but ended up having to perform the above to get everything working.
