Again, a lot of pain on both sides. In this case I think attackers got the best of it, but it depends on the value of the attacker (and thus XP). Salvage works out to about 35k value for the defenders, while the attackers get at least 60k (assuming equal value after combat) score off XP, plus 20k for the value of the roids.

for case 1, I wasnt expecting him to land for such big losses.
For case 2, you are totally wrong, maybe you got the reports mixed up, but he wouldn't have got any XP, because he didnt take a roid, he just lost more ships than the defence.
