He was a **** tonight too, he should have been sent off along with Vermaelen and Heitinga in what was an appallingly refereed match. The Ajax defence kicked seven bells out of Van Persie and Hleb in particular, and while the referee was happy to blow for the foul he consistently refused to send players off or tell teams to substitute players to avoid red cards. It won't suprise anyone that Flamini, Eboue and Van Persie ended up responding in kind, with the latter two the closest to being sent off on the Arsenal side.
I can only assume that Ajax defender who was last man didnt get sent off because it was a friendly, but how the others didn't is beyond me. I think it's best a match that is forgotten quickly, bad refereeing, awful ajax and Flamini/RVP/Gallas moaning at the referee every 5 seconds. At least RVP isnt injured.

Eboue didn't have a good match, the Inter one was hugely better. He isnt a brilliant passer, but a good crosser, and his runs often got him into crossing positions. It's an option anyway.

Heitinga was a ****ing shitbag though.
