This seems a little overblown. A change is good once in a while so why should there not be the occasional xp round? I personally don't like this playstyle but don't see this as a reason to call for a reset so instead have gone scanner.

If you don't like rushing after xp all the time you can still play value, it just wont be the only option this round as it is harder to do and less productive. Normally those who like playing xp have no chance, this round value is hard, but it is by no means decided yet that it is impossible.
