Bitcher you have a way that you want the game played. This way is that everyone is warring all the time and you can only win by attacking up. Now this great and probably was the way to play the game back when you first started playing and probably up until round 30ish.

But unfortunatly the game has not evolved to meet the demads of its playerbase. We are not a bunch of 18 yr old students anymore with hours upon hours of spare time to chuck into game and be able to get up at all hours to defend our planets and our friends planets. Alot of us are now in our mid 20's to early 30's. We have jobs, we have girlfriends or wives (some have both) and quite a few of us have children. Our personal lives are no longer conclusive to a 24/7 game where most the action happens in the dead of night.

We still enjoy having a planet though, and we enjoy the basics of the game that we can enjoy without causing arguements at home or threatening our jobs due to lack of sleep.

This game is no longer playable as you wish it played by the playerbase that plays it. Why would you want to have 7 weeks of 24/7 war when you know that everyone likes to attack in teams of 2-3 alliance against your 1?
What would be the point of attacking nightly and staying up to help DC or defend at risk of your own personal life to know that 180+ planets are gonna target your alliance of 60 with waves specifically designed to strip out the roids of your best players and undo all your hard work?

I think everyone else realises that PA stopped being a war game a long time ago (as sad as that is). Its now just a trollathon or a lolathon or a sim planet game. Its not even highly political anymore. Just grab a bunch of naps which allows your members to sleep at night which keeps them happier and more active/responsive.

I am glad for you Bitcher (truly) that you are able to play the game in this idealistic way that most most of us were able to a decade ago, but until something in the concept of the game changes drastically you are going to be out on your own in this way.

So please kindly can you stop going on about what happened 10 rounds or 20 rounds ago or even 40 which you sometimes do. Little to none of us care about those days anymore, most didnt even play back then so its completely lost on them. The game now isn't the same as the game back then.

Thank you in advance.
No this is where you go wrong imho!
A top tier alliance, with active and dedicated players should most of the time only be caring for the other top alliances.
While these low tier alliance will get their daily part of, maybe 40 incs each night wich should be tolerable to cover.
The lower ranked alliances tend to start targetting each other when you go past PT300, cus their planets are normal in lower ranked gals.
Now if they could only understand that they have no need to hit each other, as it it will only result in having MORE incommings to cover in addition to the "top tier" alliances going for "easy roids".
A alliance ranked #2 or #1 most likely need to use their fleets attacking either #1 or #2 or #3, or to defend themself, allying such an alliance basicly has no value at all going past mid round.
You can disagree all you want, but ive yet to see a alliance ranked #1 or #2 aiming for a war against a lower tier alliance comming close to the final stages of the round.
