Just because we stopped losing roids doesn't mean we stopped getting incoming. It just got to the point where the combined efforts of everyone who was left fighting couldn't take more roids from us than we could gain over night.
It was also not instantaneous that Osi dropped out as soon as Santa retired, as I didn't even pm Dimentus until a day or so later to offer Osi their opt-out option.
