We all accept that there were huge losses for the Soviet Union, for the Polish, for the Chinese, for the Japanese during the Second World War, however - it is June 6th tomorrow - which is D-Day. This thread remembers those who stormed the beaches and lost their lives along a small portion of the French coastline.

Remember them if you will. Complain about the lack of coverage for other events in WW2 somewhere else.

edit - although it is unimportant, I'd like to add that I did not give you neg-rep for that. This thread should not be about personal opinon, but about giving thanks.
