Well the problem with this sort of hyperbole is that it's difficult to specifically disprove. For example, they say :

Whether an area is desirable or not is pretty subject, presumably members of the BNP don't want to live in areas with large number of immigrants so I guess for them it probably is undersirable now. Is it violent? Well, there is violence one presumes and indeed just today three Asians were convicted of killing a black guy during the previous disturbance. "Gun toting" is practically meaningless, it's easy to allege people have guns, it's not like they have to register them. And you can buy drugs in most areas if you know what you're talking about.
The 12 year old prostitutes bit sounds pretty fantastical, but what are you going to do? **** every prostitute in Birmingham as part of a giant hooker census? Maybe she was 12 when the BNP did their "research" but now she's older.
The thing with exaggerating is that people realise you're doing it, and they correct for it. But then people think "Well, there's no smoke without fire", and undoubtedly there are crimes in that part of Birmingham, and so people add 2 and 2 and come up with 7 and the idea all this countries can be blamed on the immigrants. Most of the BNP's voters probably believed it to begin with.
The reason the BNP have any sort of influence is that their opposition is so utterly terrible. The far left has been, and remains a joke while the liberal centre are so intellectually bankrupt they can't even defeat this sort of dross. When the government doesn't want to release certain statistics for fear of how bad they are, and when housing policy is rarely defended (because it does, indirectly, favour asylum seekers over 'traditional mainly white working class families) then it's easy to see why the BNP is doing OK in some areas.
