I wouldnt say walking a girl home or driving her or putting her in a cab is 'looking after her'. I was under the impression this was just the gentlemanly thing to do....?

Obviously it does look after her but its a side bonus to the more important fact that you are acting in one of those 'good old fashioned gentlemanly' ways.

Maybe I should've been alive in the 1920s :-(
