Every ship being a potential attack ship doesn't make stats bad. Can't remember a round where a ship wasn't able to attack (NO, PDS doesn't count as a ship). It's just about finding ways to make those ships useful in attack, not about the stats (even if I do agree that the stats do suck in many ways).
