Start thinking ladies. If you want to kill this game simply shut it down instead of introducing virtual limits which are only good to **** over introducing real life friends. Instead try a more flexible approach, there are definately some things which should not be allowed, but then again some need to be allowed in order to somehow make up for the disadvantages from those limits.

Covert opping and attacking each other should be denied. As a consequence of this, however, those people on an exception should be allowed to be in the same alliances, which then again means they have to be allowed to defend each other and attack / scan the same galaxies or planets, if both are attacking the same planet then they are not allowed to do so in a teamed up way (to prevent exception-usage for escort planets), also only once every night (to prevent draining defense with recall-resend maneuvers).
Defending each other should be limited to one fleet all 72 (168) hours, after all someone's alliance and galaxy should be primary defense source - yet there should be this emergency option available in case the alliance is under very heavy fire and nobody but the person on your exception .

This is, of course, just a suggestion. But hopefully even PA Team starts to think about the game and its mechanics instead of only looking at their shiny planetarion.com-e-mail adress.
