Quality deteriorates.
CPU power needed for capturing is by far bigger -- needs to be a fast CPU to do it high quality real...

It needs some incredible amount of 598kb (or 607kb?) of conventional DOS memory :-/. Almost impossible to get there with mouse and sound drivers, if you were using DoubleSpace as well....
