in 10.5 we had some 4.000 planets, meaning some 400 galaxies.
To get 7 hits in a gal where you have 3 buddies to "claim" the galaxy, you need to hit 1 of those 400 7 times.

Covert Ops were never meant as an alternative to war. It is a tool to use in war, before war, and after a war, but imho it should not be possible to win the game just from covert-oping.

Frankly speaking, I miss the good ole private galaxies. No groups, no partly private, just plain private gals.
Not from any special view or angle, other than to play with those you wish to play...

Absolutely, 2:4 and 2:7 could have taken down 2:1, and I dont think 2:6 would be difficult to get help from either. The plan was there, but it was not executed properly. 2:1 won fair and square...

Main problem with such a change now, is that it wasnt announced earlier, and so all three qualifying rounds should have 10 people per galaxy, or I fear the final will be a bit harsh with some 10-ppl...

currently, there are 200 free-planets (not upgraded) + 30 upgraded ones + 60 that are not activated yet.
There are also 57 paid but unused...
