of course, you would need to find BWs with a lower attacking ETA than the Zik fleets, which could prove rather difficult!

Are you seriously telling me that Ziks are SUPPOSED to be able to kill anyone's ships and get salvage, whenever they like, with absolutely no risk that they could lose any ships?

Well, one solution would be to delete all planets that use this exploit, we already have 'no cheating' rule which covers this sort of thing.

This is a serious exploit then, since it's impossible for me to inflict any damage at all on the attacker, and he'll either get salvage if I stay or kill structures if I run.

It's always struck me as strange that a fleet will go into a battle that is so hopelessly one-sided that it will inevitably be destroyed. I propose adding the ability to retreat from such battles....

Farming has always been an issue, and I'm not convinced that going to a heavily roid-biased scoring system would make it any worse than it already is.

the Zik idea seems to be much stronger for attack than defence. As long as you attack ziks with a fleet composed of ships that don't target themselves or each other, borrowing will do no damage.

We would see these sort odd results if structural damage was being calulated on whole fleet values, not on a per-class basis, so if 95% of your fleet is alive after enemy fire, 95% of your fleet aims...
