When exactly was the support planet rule discontinued? I seem to remember some people getting closed earlier in the round for scanning for people in other tags [and therefor being "support planets"]....

With a decent degree and a year or two of work experience immigration to Canada/Australia is pretty simple [I only know about Canada but it takes some time to get your application approved and such.]...

Round 5 was possibly the single shittiest PA round I've ever played. The majority of my galmates were farming [I believe there were only about 4 of us not farming, practically all quit out of disgust]

I think that sums it up, farming will always be more efficient, thus changing the game dynamics to make having a farm at some point in the round a prerequisite to competing.

No. Farms are an unbalanced way of getting to the top, not through skill, but through how many friends you have/how many peons in your alliance are dumb enough to be your farm.

the problem isn't that the page wouldn't be "that much wider", its that it would be wider.
it already can't fit the things it has well enough, ie it can't fit the full length of ruler/planet names,...
