If you want the same effect, watch "The New Detectives" or shows like it on Discovery Channel. It's CSI with real cases. After watching 100+ episodes of the stuff (which I did), I now have enough...

Baseball is an advertiser's dream. Out of the four hours Game 1 took, at least 1.5 would have been part of an ad-break. It kinda kills the momentum of the game though.
