To prevent anyone else from being surprised, the big changes are Lancer now being EMP at init 1, Beetle moved to init 2. I also believe Mantis was not init 3 before, Cath is now very weak to Cr.

Bs is also in a terrible spot, Fr both fires first (Shadow), simultaneously (Unicorn) and has two EMP ships, all with faster traveltime.

You can manually set which type of Research a ship needs to be unlocked, regardless of class. Traditionally, SKs have needed Siege Hulls. On a related note, the same goes for Cloak - even an EMP ship...

Spider was always T1 Fr in my set (Cath needs it). Jintao suggested moving Co to the Widow entirely rather than a T2 on the Spider. The Spider definitely doesn't need Co T1 as it was before, I think...

I find it quite amusing that in their current setup, these stats are incredibly similar to last round's (with its flaws even exacerbated, imo), stats which were proclaimed as 'Worst Stats Ever' by BB.

At the very least I'd change Thief to FI T1 and move the CO to the Clipper, as a bandaid fix. Not sure it would make (full) DE playable, but it would at least be something to differentiate Zik DE...

Zik still seems weak and only really has the Cutlass going for it. The Pirate is nice but it's off class. DE and CR are pretty weak, and this in turn affects their partners in Ter DE and Cat CR.

There is no reason to go for DE and try to steal/go for CO. Even stealing Beetles will mean you're about even against Xan FI, but weaker against CO. If you want to steal CO just go for Cutlass.

I don't see how 0 loss def ships are any worse than a number of ships this round or any round for that matter. Examples being Pegasus, Ghost, Brigand, Tycoon. All of these ships are good on attacks...

I think you're missing my point, lince, which is that Cutlass's ERes is not low. Spider's efficiency vs the other Co (specifically, Mosquito) is only 62%, which is horrible for EMP.

ERes values alone don't mean a thing. Right now, the only EMP ship targeting Co is the Spider, and it has a 110% efficiency vs the Cutlass. If anything, every other Co needs their ERes dropped.
