I like the idea of setting up galaxies with benefits to new players, who have never played before. Either, they can join their freind's Galaxy or something.

I Agree that defense is best for encouraging communication and co-operation.

Why though don't you want attacking to be easier? Every attack results in someone having to defend also the less time...

I just found this thread....Great to see suggestions I have been thinking of already put into words. JBG 'Make the game easier for newbies to understand' quote was excellent, and should be introduced...

Yes, changes like this improve playing experience, and from the winter round (where you galaxy was your alliance) I gained some great friends, and seeing their notes on the stats of incoming was key....

I was drafting a suggestion which included not signing up for each round, but I thought the main benefit would be that you could add planets/players as your friends 'steam' or almost 'facebook'...

I mentioned this to Appoc a few days ago. I hope its implemented soon. Winter round has been great fun due to alliance defence page for in galx defence.

Eta 3 also helped organized Random galx...

I like the pre-launch option, because I have to sleep. Perhaps the JG scan should show eta 9+3 so you know when the attack will land...
