Alliance Recruitment
We need to make it easier for new and returning players to find an alliance, currently the system doesn't really work.
We have Alliance recruitment forums which new players cannot see, we have IRC channels that people logging into pa for the first time don't know about and we have the advertise feature which doesn't work too well as before anyone gets accepted, they need to communicate with the alliance recruitment. What I suggest is when you create an alliance you have a few fields you can populate... Advertise Recruitment: (dropdown multi choice (Closed, Open, Vouch Required) Full Alliance Name: Recruitment Satement: (240 char or shorter) Forum recruitment link: Netgamers IRC channel: Other Recruitment link: (telegram url or other, alliance website) Ingame Mail link? the idea is to have a page ingame that is updated every round and looks a bit like the list in this thread: http://pirate.planetarion.com/showthread.php?t=201176 its not meant to replace the forum recruitment page which can have a lot more detail, its meant to help reduce the steps needed for a new player to find information. Right now you have to sign up to pa, register on netgamers to find out about recruitment forums, register in forums to find recruitment... before you get tg and apply to the allaince then register in alliance tools and comms!! this would be extremely easy to implement and would make a huge difference. |
Re: Alliance Recruitment
I hear all you have to do is wait for the ingame mail from Kittenz HC?
