i just wanna know what u guys get from Planetarion.

like me : Planetarion tought me bout friendship among my galamtes and alliancemates,
loyalty to alliance/galaxy ,
betrayal : been betrayed by alliancemates/galmate ,
fun when roiding ppl and capping roids,
sad when u lost ur roids and ships,
anger when no def for u when u got incs ,
respect other players

taught me:

women dont like gamers.
time online is not as good as time offline
sleep might well be for the weak, but i still liek it
its very easy to take things to seriously

Well i suppose a list of disadvantages of me playing every round wud be (most have already bin said):


1) Sleepless Nites
2) Getting bashed some rounds
3) Effecting real life when i was at college and in VtS
4) Got my girlfriend into it and that was a huge mistake
5) Scaring me



But ofc there are some advantages:

1) Meeting new people and being friends with them outside of the game
2) I have always enjoyed the competition in this game thats why i cant stop playing it (well now catching Multis in it)
3) I am a Hardcore fan of this place and dont want to see it die out.
4) Seeing new allies take centre stage and prove somthing every round (like ToF and fcrew who suprise me every round)
5) And basically the community as a Whole


Now i know a lot of people have said the community has dropped.. and i will grant that the numbers have droped but i still think the spirit in some of the vetrens who have played like myself from round 1 still have that fire burning inside of them.. if they dont they i cant explain why there still here. I personaly hope PA can go on for many more rounds and i hope the rest of you feel the same also (the players that love the game)

it keeps me off the street basicly.

it's fun, very addictive and sometimes dissapointing. The real bad thing for this game, another blockwar like r13 and the will be my last round of PA.

I managed to screw up my GCSEs, AS-Levels and A-Levels. I then failed the first year of my degree (got the resit results through today....PASSED!).

but more serious:
I think PA costed me my first marriage , but i somehow should be gratefull for it.
It gave me the best time of my life (seriously) on internet, made some good (rl) friends, lost some also again tho.
It gave me loads of wrinkles due to a lack of sleep and it learned me how to use a computer and the internet, i signed up for round 2 of PA when i got my first computer, played on ICQ for a round (wich took me a day to install or so), took me a week to understand IRC only a LITTLE bit etc, and now i get everywhere i want, so in short it made me a nerd.....sniff

Basically it was my first love on the internet and now its gonna be my last before i throw out the comp:P

1) RSI and Eyestrain.

2) Keyboard damage (keys i, n, c, o, m, g and s all worn out).

3) Indecisiveness (e.g. quitting PA every round and waking to find you still have a planet).

4) Xenophobia, Paranoia, Compulsive Obsessive Disorder (Unable to leave house for fear of incomings, paranoid fear of strangers believing them all to be after my roids).

5) The ecstasy of landing a well calculated attack

6) The agony of landing a badly calculated attack

7) Some really awesome alliance mates, galaxy mates and real mates. There are many reasons for leaving PA, but somehow they are all outweighed by you guys :)

Two times i got very high ranked, so high i was going to get prices:

1st time: They didnt ship out the prices.

2nd time: Onely the number 1 got his price, and we did not get what they promised. We got a t-shirt, a t-shirt sized small.

Other than that, i got friends for life and learned the meaning of DTA (DontTrustAnyone)

What I got from PA was the the ability to pay to send some numbers to another number. Then I could initiate more numbers so my number income got bigger. When I got more numbers, my overall-numbers got bigger and soon I could see my numbers on the Universe page. Other times someone sent a lot of numbers at me and I lost many numbers so my numbers dissapeared from the Universe page.

Can't believe I was sitting up all nights to get myself a number :eek:

I love playin this game more than anything on the internet, well maybe not everything ;-)

My gf hates the late nights early mornings away from the bedroom. So i got a laptop now thats prioritising :devil:

Thanks to the old crew spinner, fudge, Zues etc for makin the game and the community leaders who have conituned to offer there services!
