Round 43 / 44Update
 

All,
just a reminder that tomorrow night is the end of Round 43. It finishes with the the End of Round Ceremony (EoRC), which will occur at 21:00 GMT for an hour in #planetarion on irc.netgamers.org (accessible via the com unit). It will consist of interviews with the top players, the top galaxy and representatives of the alliance, and then finish with an alliance competition (allcomp), where users will [tag] in their nickname for their alliance, and the winning alliance will win a few credits.

After that has completed, Round 43 Havoc will occur.

In Round 43 Havoc, ALLIANCES WILL BE DISABLED. Instead, a -2 ETA Cluster defence bonus will be introduced.

This will mean that anyone in the same cluster as you (having the same "x" as your x:y:z planet co-ordinates) can defend you 2 ticks quicker than anyone else can get to you.

As a reminder, Round 44 round names can still be submitted via [email protected] - the winning entry gets a credit, and there's no limit on the number of entries.
