people need a rest... if there are any changes there needs to be time to test them before implementing... alliances need time to work things out for the next round etc etc

its normally 2 or 3 weeks after the previous round - allows time for a week of beta - I think I read the 15th somewhere but I am not certain about that, hopefully someone is better informed than me

Havoc has started already, you keep your old planet but it gets given a load of constructions and resources, plus teh ticker goes faster (once every 15mins). You get to play for a week or two.

In 2-3 weeks or so, the new, 'proper' round will start. Any fixes or new parts of the game need to be implemented, and a new set of stats needs to be built (even if it's just the old set but changed a bit)
