What are you currently reading?

In one of the major norwegian newspapers, they have a article about what people have on the "nighttable", ie what people are reading. So like once a week they call up someone and ask them.

So, what are you book/books are you reading at the moment?

Its a historical comparitive study between Russian serfs and South US slaves. I'm reading it for my dissertation, but its actually a pretty good book too.

I've gone through the whole OT, and i've got up to John in the NT but have got a bit bored now.

Read two Louis de Bernieres books over the last couple of weekends which were brilliant, about to read the third one now.

I read a few books at the same time. I've been reading The Great War for Civilisation by Robert Fisk for the past six weeks or so and whatever random science fiction/historical/random novels I encounter in the meantime. Currently I'd be rating fisk at about nine out of ten so go and read it guys!

A Portrait of the Young Man as an Artist by James Joyce. A good book, though not as good as Ulysses or Finnegan's Wake in my mind.

Anyone recommend anything in the vein of Kafka?

I know. I wont work more with the books, will rather solve past exams. The books are shit, Sending writes as he's the superior God on earth. Crappy written tbh. I've noticed one thing: Some of the formulas doesn't correspond with the in-book tasks/examples he wrote.

He is preparing himself to work for Deloitte.

Everyone who works at the big accounting firms must read Rand, in order to boost the morale of the employees and making it possible for them to extort maxmimum capital from the working people. Big capital doesnt want morals and ethics, it will damage profits.

He got fired indeed. You should also note that BI is ranked higher on world and european basis than NHH.

I don't know what a case cost. I wrote my own A's and B's in the 3 cases we've had so far, so paying 2000 NOK for a case isn't something that fits my already "stripped" budget. Maybe I should start writing cases for others aswell? You know, nice way of starting business at business-school. :D Anyways, I'd rather learn the curriculum that involves the cases than fail the exams because I couldn't answer the questions involving the cases.
