I was more hoping you would reflect upon the company you share in this regard.

Lok and I were following my schedule (we agreed on some minor adjustments) and I got all the way into the fourth week when my shins hurt too bad to run anymore. I had to take a week off. Apparently the running was too intensive with not enough rest, at least for me. Lok is doing ok. So I have scrapped it, and am trying to figure out how much rest I need between runs. It's looking like 1 day run 1 day rest. It is just going to take longer.

If you're getting shin splints (/sore shins) you need to have a look at your trainers. Go to a specialist running shop and get them to check out your running style (apparantly people roll their feet different ways). Different trainers are better for different running syles (apparantly). You also need to sort out your insoles to match your feet.

Yes, I got the same problem with the shins. Probably it isnt such a good idea to run every day.
So that link with the training schedule you posted back in the other thread is somewhat challenging?
I think about really getting into this. I need some new goal and I figured preparing to run 42 km in one go might take a while :)

It doesn't work for me. It might work for others.

I don't know what kind of shit schedule you're following but if you're building up stamina to run a 42km run you really shouldn't run every day.

Has anyone made some joke along the lines of "yes, these security measures are being put in place to stop some guys taking "explosive" liquid onto planes" or "these new security measures have put a dent in the mile high club" or "A pornstar was detained yesterday after he was trying to board with explosive fluid that wasn't even in a see through container" yet?

If you haven't, I'm ashamed of you all!

No mention of females, so add "Women" to OUT, and "Fags" to IN.
