Zharkov just disappeared. He was a regular in the football leagues, never missed a match, then suddenly nothing. Maybe he died.

W had a hissy fit and left because he didnt like either Nodrog or Yahwe, i cant remember which it was.

Workmonkey was banned about 4 million times by me then gave up. I was so fast back in the day i banned his accounts before he posted :cool:

Mbushel pretended to be dead i think...? Then he came back and posted once or twice then gave up. Probably not too happy about being reminded he was supposed to be dead everytime he posted.

Nostalgia aside, most of those people were terrible posters and I'm quite glad we shedded them. I would take back W, Grimble, Blackdog, RE, Verm, Gayle, Sar and Idler though.

W was amazingly puffed-up. He wasn't stupid, by any means, but he was breathtakingly arrogant and often pontificated over things he didn't have an informed opinion on. Not that that's unusual on GD by any means, but he certainly wasn't one of the best posters.

Hey, Im new here. Im a friend of work monkey's in real life and I signed up because I saw him mentioned here. Im normally a lurker.
Neither me or any of our close friends have heard from him in what must be over a year now.
Anyway - I bumped into his sister the other day and (I dont know wether to believe this or not but) she told me he joined the SAS and he's in Iraq right now. I guess he just didnt want to worry us.
