So, if you die, they'll put you in jail?

It's much funnier when Dace says things like that :(

It must be illegal to make a law like that?

Makes you wonder what the punishment/sentence would be for dying doesn't it?

Ho Ho Ho. It must be Christmas :(
Seriously, they obviously aren't really making a law to ban people from dying. They're just trying to get the Government to lift protection laws on nearby land so they can bury people there. They're trying to raise awareness and force the Government's hand by making a stupid "potential law", so that we all talk about it like this, and then go and mob ...whichever country is doing it and demand they have an honourable place to bury their dead.
Or whatever.

They should carry it a little further.

1. It is illegal to die.

2. Anyone attempting to die will not have that death recognized.

3. Anyone who thinks they are dead will be defined by the government as actually being alive.

4. Allow the undead to vote (many of them do in Illinois anyway).

5. Allow undead candidates.

6. Elect undead representatives to the legislature to represent that area.

7. Drag the undead to the legislature and prop them up in seats.

8. Undead representatives wouldn't be able to initiate new stupid legislation.

Win-Win.

These are already in place. Havent you watched any debates recently in the House of Representatives?

Theyve had corpses sitting in there since 1986.

Somehow a few of them even vote.

First use of mongchop I've seen in awhile. First used during the Roosevelt Administration I believe.

Re: Banned from dying, wtf?

We really should n`t be surprised by this. During medieval times in Europe, it was common for The Inquistion to put people on trial even though they were already dead and buried. Someone dies, and at some point in the future it is subsequently found they were in fact heretics. Their property and land that was shared out to the family reverted to the church (a nice little money earner); their body exhumed and put on trial (I can imagine the scene "How do you plead? Silence. "Well we`ll take that as guilty then") Then the condemed would be relaxed to the state authorities for burning at the stake. After all not even death can save you from the Inquistion.
