Hei, as an old timer coming back this game has actually gotten better :)

Only thing i miss is the old race themes, that where around r10-11 or something.

Only one i find "playable" at the moment is text only white.

Any chance these could be reimplented?

Yeah i've upgraded it.

I think they are "weird", just have to get used to it.

Appocomaster, the lighter version of r32 skin is nice. Doesn't have the 2005-like-border styles.

But should have an option to view galbanners in lighter modes also imo.

I want to bring this thread back to life. Maybe make a contest to make the best themes and winner gets a credit or something?

Agreed, some of the older nicer skins would be good like the race the,es, once done hopefully they can just be kept for future rounds.

The last 3 times we had a competition for skins or graphics, where we mailed the whole universe and put it on the portal, and offered a free credit, we got 0 entries I think.

We can't redo the old skins as all the old skin developers left, they didn't leave the original graphics, and most of them have skins where the name is embedded in the graphics, which means it breaks whenever we have to introduce a page, etc.

If anyone is willing to volunteer and make a skin, great. Paying a developer to make one is currently a bit less likely, as graphics designers are traditionally expensive ...
